THE SMELL!! Wow. Ok. This place is OLD. And it REEEEEEEKS. I’m not even sure what the smell was - mix of old smoke, old greasy food.,.mould perhaps?? This place is eve very tired and in need of a refresh. Everything is stained, leaking, cracked, chipped. Bed and bedding were new enough and comfortable enough. Location in red light area apparently. Staff friendly enough. But yeah - the smell was diabolical. Would not stay again.

First impression from the street is a bit suss, it’s an older building, but overall it’s got a nice bohemian feel. Some maintenance work is needed here and there, but minor things. If you’re looking for an area with a great range of eateries, bars, venues, this area has lots of options. I was staying on a weekday so I would guess the weekend may require a bit of care if you’re out late? Yes it’s a noisy neighbourhood and lots of people out, but very clean, big comfortable room and great value. Definitely will stay again

Our booking was made in early Jan 2023 and the room was given to someone else as we arrived a little later than expected. The alternate room was terrible with holes in the bathroom window. Unfortunately they don't show photos of all bathrooms. Had to source accommodation elsewhere and could not get a refund immediately due to booking via a 3rd party. at over $300 fo a night it is just not good enough! 3rd party booking company excellent organising a refund.

Location was excellent, in the heart of Adelaide, 5-10 min walk to markets, shops, cafes, restaurants, sporting venues & botanical gardens. Karine & staff were very helpful & friendly. We asked for & were given a quiet room. The hotel is a little dated, but it is clean & comfortable & has WiFi & a lift. Recommend it for convenience, comfort & price. Disadvantage is parking, which is close, but not free.

They canceled my booking without any reason just 3/5 days before. because I booked through a website, I was tensed because of that. you know Australia is expensive, if you can't book your hotel before 1month, it will cost high. so I called them directly, which was bit stressing...surprisingly I found that they take booking only over phone! and that street is very popular for bar areas ..so bit noisy for a solo traveler..you can check Rundle mall road, that was I find more interesting & happening place. room not too clean comparing the rent.
